Product Overview

An optical switch is an optical path control component that functions to control and switch optical paths. It plays a crucial role in optical communication applications. Optical switches are mainly used in: multi-channel optical monitoring in optical transmission systems, automatic switching of multi-light sources/detectors in LANs, and multi-point dynamic monitoring systems for optical sensors; testing of optical fibers, optical components, networks, and field engineering optical cables in optical testing systems; and assembly and adjustment of optical components. A 1×N optical switch can route one input path to one of the N output paths.

  • Equipped with an LCD display for intuitive data presentation, facilitating user operation.
  • Automatic scanning can be set, with a maximum switching interval of 99 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds; the “start channel” and “end channel” for scanning can also be set.
  • A “device address” can be set, allowing users to control multiple optical switch instruments with a single serial port when serial port resources are limited.
  • The serial port communication baud rate can be set according to actual conditions, with available baud rates including 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 57600, and 115200.
